That quotation about books or was it standards?
Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.

Week 2 Announcements
Hi everyone,
CS4004 Labs start this week, beginning on Tuesday at 15.00. There is one at 12.00 on Wednesday, and the rest are on Fridays. You will be setting up your account on the CSIS bugzilla installation and getting used to the functionality.
Tutorials start also on Tuesday: 9.00, 11.00 and 14.00 to begin with. Another Tuesday slot is intended but not this week. Last tutorial of the week this week will be on Friday at 9.00 in SG19 but I am not sure there will be enough people to fill two different 9.00 slots :-)

Welcome back
and welcome to CS4004, a module that is mostly about doing software testing but also looks at related topics such as software quality, specification and general defect detection techniques such as inspections.
Notes will be available for a modest fee from the UL Print Room, E1-005 in the Main Building.
But these notes will not be enough, as this is module in which you will need to read a bit more widely than usual. There is a large amount of useful and recommended material on the web, and this blog has links to get you started.
